There is recent recall of appliances by Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana, Amiral, Magic Chef, Performa by Maytag and Crosley brand refrigerators. There may be electrical failure in the relay, the component that tuns on the refrigerator’s compressor, can cause overheating and pose a serous fire hazard. Those affected units were sold via retail or homebuilders nationwide.
